Quiet country beach town. Fantastic for beach, fishing, surfing and hiking. Beach is only a short walk away (10 mins), local shops are a 3 min drive away with a general store, chemist, food and takeaway and the local bar and cafe. There is an IGA supermarket in Tarwin Lower (5 min drive out of town) and a great pub in the Riverview Hotel where you can get a good meal, drink and listen to live music. Inverloch, Leongatha and Wonthaggi some of the bigger centres within reach for food, shopping and dining. Beach is only a short walk. Parking is available for 3 cars on the property in the driveway and under the car port with 2 spots available in front of the house. You do need a car or bike to travel to the shops or to travel to nearby towns. Venus Bay is a great base to explore the region especially if you like nature and country life.
