This spacious comfortable 70's style beach house is ideal for 1 or 2 couples wanting a quiet escape with beautiful views and walking distance to Wategos Beach, The Pass, Main Beach and the cafes & shops of Byron Bay. The property faces east, gets all the morning sun & is protected from chilly southerly winds. There is onsite parking a necessity at Wategos Beach.

Wategos Beach is a beautiful protected beach nestled under the lighthouse. It is a pleasant 1/2 hour walk along the beach into the main centre of Byron Bay with its cafes, restaurants, art galleries, music venues and interesting shops. From the doorstep there are lovely walks in the national park, including a walk up to the lighthouse and out to the most easterly point of Australia. Raes Cellar Bar is available for drinks & snacks from around midday until dusk, Raes Restaurant is open for lunch & dinner (bookings essential) it is located just below the property. A coffee cart (kombi van) is located in the garden at Raes open from 6am everyday. The Pass Cafe is a 7 minute walk and caters for breakfast and lunch open from 7am. The Lighthouse Cafe is open from 8am and Beach Restaurant at Clarkes beach a 20 minute walk is open for lunch and dinners (certain dates), the Beach Kiosk behind the Restaurant is open for snacks, coffee from 7am.
