You will see from the extensive gardens that I am a very keen gardener. I also enjoy horse riding, and you can pat the horses in the paddock below the house. My husband John's favourite pastime is swimming in the river at the bottom of the property which offers a fantastic way of cooling off at the end of a warm day. We both love dogs, and have two friendly dogs on the property as well as a host of other animals.

Whispering Pines offers three beautifully appointed guest roooms in the Collie River Valley. Each room has an ensuite, and we offer a continental breakfast with homemade preserves. The Treetop room offers a four poster bed (queen) and balcony and is perfect for romantic getaways. The Forest Room and Garden Room are next to each other on the ground floor and are perfect for families. There is a communal lounge with a log fire. The Forest room offers a queen-sized bed with a private patio and beautiful outlook to the forest and gardens. The Garden room has two single beds. The property is set is extensive gardens. We have many facilities for children, including a beautiful cubby house.

The Collie River Valley offers a host of attractions including the famous Bibbulmun Track, and the Munda Biddi bike trail. (Drop offs on the Bibb track for walkers are available by prior arrangement.) Beautiful Black Diamond Lake and Wellington Dam are nearby. Collie has lovely parks for children, including a water play park and skate park. The new Collie Art Gallery is one of the region's most popular new attractions. The Collie Golf Course welcomes non-members and provides an excellent place for spotting kangaroos in the evening.
