Wildflower Sands is a brand new holiday house with modern colours and lines and comfortable furnishings inside. It is close enough that you can walk to town to eat and have a drink and walk home again. The house is a retreat set in bushland, farming and hill vistas, with a view of the ocean too. Birds and flowers abound and there's a shy resident wombat too.

I am an experienced host for 11 years and live in Bicheno. I love to have coffee with friends in town after a swim in the ocean. I walk or cycle sometimes and ride my horse Suki. I love the wildflowers growing at the property. I have seen 27 types in the seasons over a year. Some are tiny. Stroll the heathlands to see what you can find.

Bicheno is a great base to walk the beaches, walk in the forest, watch penguins at night, and take photos at sunset or sunrise. Indulge in seafood, at the "Gulch" and taste wines and gin at the Farm Shed. Only 40 minutes from Wineglass Bay. Enjoy the quiet evenings with starry skies or stay tucked up warm if the sea winds are blowing.
