Set on 100 acres of peaceful farmland, Wildnest offers unparalleled escarpment views, unique wildlife sightings, and the tranquillity of a secluded retreat. Our spacious tents feature plush king beds, private bathrooms with luxurious IKOU amenities, and a cosy indoor fireplace, blending rustic charm with modern comfort.
Guests can enjoy cooking in a well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a gas stovetop and essential kitchenware, or grill outside on the Heston Blumenthal BBQ while taking in the scenic surroundings. Private balconies with 180-degree views of the escarpment and outdoor fireplaces create the perfect setting for stargazing or unwinding after a day of adventure.
Located just a short drive from Glen Davis mines, scenic hiking trails, and charming local cafes, Wildnest Farmstay is ideally positioned for exploring the hidden treasures of Capertee Valley. Enjoy a peaceful digital detox (no WiFi, and limited phone reception), and experience nature in all its glory.
Please note: Our two tents are about 60 metres apart, and privacy is maintained through careful positioning and additional measures. Due to limited collection services, guests are asked to take their rubbish upon departure. Capertee's wealth and importance grew as coal, shale-oil and limestone were discovered and mined in the area. Surrounded by the wonders of World Heritage Listed wilderness, the Capertee Valley is the world's second largest canyon. Capertee Valley is 1 kilometre wider than the Grand Canyon, but not quite as deep.
