Now they want to share their local knowledge with visitors and hope that you, their guests, appreciate and enjoy the Central Australian Desert surroundings as much as they do. Situated in the neighbourhood of Braitling on the northern side of town, this property is in close proximity to the Telegraph Station where there are historic buildings from the earliest settlement, nature walks and a network of bike trails. It provides a starting point for the Larapinta Trail, which stretches over 223kms along West Macs - Tjoritja. There are also bush walks right outside the back gate and most mornings, kangaroos can easily be spotted, but if not, there is an old bath just outside the back fence were they often come down to drink in the evenings – even the occasional Perentie!
