B&B 't Heirweggoed is housed in a 19th century farm which has been renovated with care in the past few years. Hostess Mia manages to create an authentic rural atmosphere thanks to the right decorations. The breakfast room is included in the open kitchen with a view on the garden and the forest; and when with good weather, the sun is shines in your plate. In the morning you are spoiled with a rich breakfast. The reception room has a cozy sitting area where multiple guests can chat together about the adventures of the day and enjoy from a drink of the honesty bar. In the garden, there are several terraces at the disposal of the guests of which one is covered.

The B&B is born from the love to welcome people in a pleasant and authentic environment. As children of the region we’re pleased to tell you the most beautiful places in the Meetjesland, a true hiking and cycling paradise. Hostess Mia does everything to pamper you with a delicious and rich breakfast. Authentic stuff collecting and decorating is her hobby.

The B&B is situated on the edge of the Oosteeklo and Lembeke forests. Because of its unique location in the Meetjesland (province of East-Flanders, close to the boarder with the Netherlands) the B&B is a great starting point for many hiking or cycling tours. The B&B is located between junctions 17 and 26 of the cycling network Meetjesland. Bicycles are made available at a small fee. Please contact us for more information. For guests who wish to bring along their horse there are facilities available at Somar Arabians less than a kilometer away. Of cours, you can also watch the birds having fun in the garden or forest. And maybe, a squirrel might pass you just a few meters away. Also Flemish tourist cities such as Ghent (17 km), Bruges (35 km) or Antwerp (55 km) are easy to reach. Even Sluis (35 km) and Middelburg (56 km) in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen (Netherlands) are not far off.
