In the heart of the landscapes of the Ardenne Bleue region, this "log cabin" made with local wood and stone has been recently renovated to offer its guests all the necessary comfort. It has a bedroom with a double (queen-size) bed on the ground floor, and upstairs, a bedroom with a double (queen-size) bed, two single pull-out beds and a folding baby cot. The view over the valley is just beautiful! Fully-fitted kitchen including coffee-beans espresso machine, dishwasher and microwave oven, will make your stay more enjoyable. Raclette and meat/cheese fondue sets indoors and bbq outdoor - everything you need is there! And what about cocooning by the fireplace, taking advantage of the television and its internet connection...

Freshly retired, we love Belgian Ardennes and Spain, and we travel between both... So many discoveries yet to come and share!

The chalet is located in Stoumont, Wallonia, Belgium. Nearby, the town of Spa renowned for its springs, thermal baths, casino and festivals (Francofolies and theater festival), Stavelot and its museums (Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, treasures of the abbey, Guillaume Apollinaire) and La Gleize museum - December 44/Battle of the Bulge). The larger tourist and commercial centres (and Christmas markets in the end-of-the-year period) of Verviers, Liège, Maastricht (Netherlands) and Aachen (Germany) are 1 hour away or less, just like Luxembourg for refuelling or shopping with an interesting VAT rate. Be it for nature, relaxation or sports lovers, there is only the embarrassment of choice: the chalet is at the crossroads of rambling/hiking and mountain biking, and a soft slope bicycle trail set on the old railway line of the Fagnes (Vehn Bahn ) wich starts at Trois-Ponts, 5 km away, and goes either to Spa (15 km) or to Waimes (25 km). And in season, there is plenty of downhill and cross-country skiing: Francorchamps-Mont des Brumes, Spa-Thier des Rexhons or Stavelot-Val de Wanne.
