Bansko is already one of the most attractive and popular winter sports resorts in Eastern Europe. Apart from being a regular host of the World Cup circuit, it offers great snow conditions and many hours of sunshine, even in winter. The “Tomba” track is the main challenge for experienced skiers, and it has been a host of numerous races from the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup calendar. Bansko offers its guests a unique 16-kilometer uninterrupted ski run with a vertical drop of 1600 m, starting from Todorka peak at the highest point of the skiing center, all the way down to the base station of the gondola lift at the outskirts of town. The last 7 km of the slope are lighted and you may enjoy the excitement of night skiing two times a week.
