The farmhouse is ideal for both short and long stays offering a lovely swimming pool, fast WiFi, work areas, endless space to yourself and a nearby pond, which attracts a variety of birds and wildlife. Located 1km off the A3, between Ghanzi (Gantsi) and D'kar. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms.

Ghanzi Farmhouse has been a home of my family for five generations. Me and my son Michael manage the property and the farm however Corrie may be who hosts you depending on the time of the year.

The Ghanzi farmhouse is surrounded by Kalahari bushveld and is about 1km from a limestone pan that holds water throughout the winter. The pan attracts an excellent variety of birds and other wildlife. Walking in the surrounding bush you are likely to see kudus and warthogs. If you are really fortunate you could spot a cheetah or perhaps a python. Probably because the pan has provided a reliable water source for centuries, Stone Age tools can be found. The night skies are spectacular, especially on moonless nights. The farmhouse is best reached by car. The first 18km from Ghanzi is on the A3 toward Maun. The house is 1km off the tarred road on a dirt track that can be safely negotiated in a saloon car (slowly - as it is rough). The farmhouse is about a five hour drive from Windhoek, three hours from Maun and eight hours from Gaborone. The nearest shops are in Ghanzi, a ten minute drive. There is no public transport.
