We are about 5 to 10 minutes drive from most of the town's facilities (The Botswana Meat Commission, Botswana Geoscience Institute, Athlone & Mental Hospitals, Lobatse High Court, Samora Marshel Museum, Cumberland Hotel, Town Centre). Guests can book dinner from our onsite chef or choose to eat at the many restaurants located at Lobatse Junction Mall & Town Centre (Debonairs, KFC, Braai Place etc.) located a short drive from the guesthouse. Pitikwe Hill Guesthouse is located in a residential neighborhood in the North Eastern part of Lobatse, a short distance from the Town Centre. Lobatse is located about 60 km south of Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana. There are a number of tourist activities that one can do while visiting Lobatse and surroundings, these include, Samura Mashel Museum, Fish Keitseng House, Mandela House, Cultural tours to nearby villages - this gives the guests insight into the Setswana way of leaving (Bahurutshe Cultural Village is an excellent example of this) as well as enable them to see the dramatic transformation some of these villages have undergone in the last few decades. The nearby village of Otse offers the highest point in Botswana called the Baratani Hill with nearby old manganese mine sites. The Mogonye Gouge offers an excellent hiking site for guests. The annual Lobatse Mountain walk also offers guests to engage in a charitable event and see the beautiful scenery around Lobatse. Other activities include Horse riding in Mogobane, Scenic tours of the nearby Peleng, Nnywane and Mogobane dams, as well as a day or two safari tour to nearby located Manong and Big Valley Game Lodges.
