Blackbird Glen Bed & Breakfast features 3 lovely guest rooms in the Walkout Basement of our home. Each room features a private 2-piece ensuite. Guest amenities include a guest lounge with high-speed internet, workspaces, coffee bar and refrigerator and microwave. Guests can enjoy the use of 2 outdoor patios with an outdoor kitchen and Barbecue. Take a stroll in the gardens and spot blackbirds in the wetlands. Home made breakfast is served upstairs. Blackbird Glen is conveniently located midway between the Kelowna Airport and Downtown Kelowna and is a quick drive to UBC Okanagan.
Alexandria is a retired, registered nurse and has always had an interest in travel and the stories that people tell about their lives and travels. She enjoys sharing her experiences in nutritional health, wellness, music and nature. She is the official gardener at Blackbird Glen Bed & Breakfast. Daniel and Alexandria have been married for 53 years. Daniel is retired technical designer who is the official man for fixing and keeping things running around Blackbird Glen Bed & Breakfast. Daniel and Alexandria have four lovely daughters and four grandsons.
Within the Glenmore Valley from Blackbird Glen: Grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store, gas station, restaurants, and dollar store are a 6 minute drive or 26 minutes walking. There are many places to hike close by in the Glenmore Valley. Robert’s Lake 1.6 km, 2 min by car, 21 min walking. Scenic Road Ciders along the way.
