Swallow’s Perch is a peaceful garden suite near St. Mary’s Lake on Salt Spring Island, perfect for cozy winter escapes. After wandering forest trails or browsing local markets, return to unwind with tea and a movie while the rain taps outside. Listen to birdsong from your private patio and feel the calm of island life. A warm, comfortable retreat for small families, couples or solo travelers. (Not directly on the lake.)
II’m a maker, explorer, and lifelong learner who finds joy in nature and family life. After 20 years as a nurse, I now run our family upholstery and furniture shop with my dad on Salt Spring Island, creating comfort and beauty for others. My husband and our two kids bring warmth, humour, and creative chaos to every day.
