Heather and Sébastien are polymaths. Together, they have university degrees in seven different disciplines (Canadian Studies, Music, Folklore, Religious Studies, Ethnomusicology, Anthropology, and Viola Performance/Pedagogy).
Sébastien is a university lecturer and has been the Mayor of a Newfoundland town (Witless Bay), an Action Canada fellow, an infantry reservist, and a stuntman. Heather owns a music school and masters a number of musical instruments, including the viola, the violin, the piano, and the Highland bagpipes (which she never plays when guests are sleeping).
They're the proud parents of two beautiful girls (Amélie & Évangéline).

An elegant Victorian villa located a short minute’s walk from the heart of downtown Shédiac, Le Griffon's inviting parlour, its guest kitchen/dining room, and its grounds are perfect places to rest and relax.Our 1895 Acadian B&B has been skillfully restored to preserve the masterful craftsmanship of this historic home and allow guests the opportunity to appreciate the past while enjoying the comforts of the present.
Our beautifully restored Victorian house earns its four stars with its spacious and comfortable rooms, each of which is equipped with modern amenities (WiFi, A/C, TV), a private bath, and comfy Queen beds.
The most important meal of the day is included and is available each morning from 7:30am to 9:30am. A different hot menu is served every day, with something from the griddle, fresh eggs, fresh bread, baked pastries, etc.)! A wide array of continental staples is also always available every day (normally including orange juice, cold cereals, granola, yogurts, fruit, breads, homemade jams & jellies, tea & coffee).

Le Griffon is surrounded by fine restaurants, outdoor cafés, historic houses, shops, boutiques, art galleries, and the largest weekly outdoor market in Atlantic Canada. Just a short jaunt from Canada's finest saltwater beach (with the warmest waters north of Virginia!), attractions in Shédiac include boat tours & cruises, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, golf, cycling, hiking, a Drive-In theatre, an ecocentre, and an Artist Village.
The Greater Moncton International Airport (YQM) is only 16 km away!
