Meet your host, the owner of the River Safari right next door, He may be staying in the loft suite upstairs during your stay. With over 25 years of living in this breathtaking region, he’s deeply passionate about the outdoors. In 1995, he and his dad started the River Safari, sharing their love for nature and adventure with visitors from around the world. If you decide to take a river safari during your stay, there’s a good chance he’ll be your jet boat guide, adding a personal touch to an unforgettable experience!

Welcome to our newly built lodge, nestled along the river channel leading into Mud Lake. During the summer months, we open up three of our rooms to host guests seeking a peaceful escape in nature. We offer two double occupancy rooms and one family room, each with a private bathroom and access to a balcony for enjoying the serene surroundings. While you’ll have plenty of privacy, you’re also welcome to connect with other guests in the large, fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room. For added convenience, our restaurant at the River Safari is open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 4 PM, serving delicious breakfast and lunch options to fuel your adventures. Whether you’re cooking, gathering, sharing stories, or simply unwinding, this tranquil retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, connection, and convenience in the heart of nature.

Here, we’re lucky to share our surroundings with incredible wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. While Blue River sits along a popular highway, it only takes a short detour to find yourself immersed in untouched beauty—glacier-capped mountains, an emerald-green lake, and countless off-the-beaten-path adventures.
