Home is located in a very quiet and peaceful dead-end road with only 3 other homes across the street. In the heart of the Kootenays, and a very central base for your west Kootenay vacation, is the City of Castlegar. Just steps from the property is Millennium park, which has beautiful trails and the tallest castle-themed children's play structure in Canada. Enjoy the sandy swimming ponds on the shore of the Columbia River and walk along the river trails. Castlegar is "The Sculpture Capital of Canada" with over 50 sculptures in the downtown area. Free covered parking under cover and additional parking on the large driveway and on the street in front of the house. Public transit stops near the property, with service Monday through Saturday. The property is a short walk from all the essentials you will need like restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, drug store, and library.
