Ever since I was invited to my friend's cottage in my last year of high school, I have always wanted to own a cottage. I loved enjoying nature with friends, jumping off cliffs, swimming freely in a lake, fishing and just looking at a sky full of stars. 20 years later, I now have a cottage and want to share the experience with my family, friends and guests. Little Kennisis Lake in the Haliburton Highlands is part of the Canadian Shield. The roads in and out are maintained by the municipality year round and as such the roads are in good condition. Keep your cameras handy as deer and moose are known to meander on the sides of the road. Parking is available for 5 cars.
