Our commitment is illustrated by the choice of an authentic renovation in old wood, favouring the re-use of objects (antique furniture, old crockery, etc.) and natural materials (organic bedding, organic cotton sheets, pure wool curtains). For a sustainable stay, Alpen Charme provides 100% natural, biodegradable and refillable hygiene products. The cleaning products used in the chalet are natural and environmentally friendly. The energy sources used are mainly renewable and for a large part local. In the magnificent natural setting of the Saanenland, you will enjoy a unique, relaxing and environmentally friendly stay.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Gsteig bei Gstaad, the Chalet d'Hôtes Alpen Charme welcomes you in an authentic chalet dating from 1827 and offers you an authentic, warm and refined atmosphere. The terraces, the garden and the wellness area are places to relax and unwind after an active day. Its very pleasant rooms, equipped with organic bedding and linen, are decorated with antique furniture, handicrafts and have a television with international channels / free wifi connection. Each room has its own bathroom and some also have a private terrace. The chalet has a 50 m2 wellness area open every day from 2pm to 7pm and offers a 36 degree Nordic bath, a Sauna and a Hammam. An à la carte breakfast is served every morning in the garden or in the lounge depending on the season. It is created with organic products and products from the village farms (cheese, eggs, honey, jams). The chalet can be reached from the Gsteig Post bus stop in 3 minutes. It is 22 minutes by bus from the Gstaad train station and 30 minutes from Les Diablerets. From 1 May to 31 October, public transport on site is free with the Gstaad Card. A recharging station for electric cars is available in the chalet car park. A unique, relaxing and environmentally friendly stay.

The region is popular for cycling, hiking, climbing, cross-country skiing and ski touring. In summer, there are numerous hikes directly from the chalet to the Launensee, Arnensee or the Sanetsch lake. In winter, Chalet Alpen Charme is an 11-minute bus ride from the Glacier 3000 ski area and a 13-minute bus ride from Gstaad Eggli or Wispile. Cross-country skiing is possible directly from the village of Gsteig.
