The hosts Nadia and Sergio are a young couple who love travelling. Together they have visited more than 40 countries around the world. Since 2020, they have lived together in Mergoscia, the village where Nadia grew up. Sergio comes from Brazil. They met in Indonesia when Nadia was travelling and Sergio was living and studying in Australia. After three years of long-distance relationship, they were able to fulfil their dream in Mergoscia of welcoming guests from all over the world in their own way, as they had learned to appreciate on their travels: Spontaneous, authentic, sustainable and in keeping with local tradition?Nadia and Sergio have plenty of tips and suggestions for excursions and activities in and around Mergoscia. In addition, every visitor receives a personalised travel guide with all the information about the region, hikes and restaurant recommendations. Cà Armonia 2 is located on the 3rd floor of a building that offers breathtaking views of Lake Verzasca, the famous dam, Lake Maggiore, and the surrounding mountains. It is the perfect starting point for various hikes and excursions to other tourist destinations such as Ascona, the Brissago Islands, the many picturesque valleys, the castles of Bellinzona, and much more. The apartment is accessible via a staircase (there is no elevator). The space is very bright and includes an open kitchen, which is directly connected to the living room. A separate room is furnished with a designer bed (double mattress, 160 x 200 cm). For a potential third person, there is a modern cardboard bed "Room in a Box" with a single mattress (90 x 200 cm) in the same room. The apartment also has a private terrace with a table and chairs, where you can comfortably have breakfast, lunch, or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery. The bathroom is fully equipped with a toilet and shower, along with towels certified to the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, a hairdryer, eco-friendly soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. The kitchen is also fully equipped, featuring a refrigerator with an integrated freezer, electric cooktops, an electric kettle, a small electric oven, a DELIZIO coffee machine with a few capsules, and a Moka Bialetti coffee maker (please bring your own ground coffee). For absolute hygiene, all mattresses and pillows are covered with an OEKO-TEX® STANDARD-certified hypoallergenic, breathable, and antibacterial fleece. All paper products, such as toilet paper and paper towels, are either FSC-certified or made from recycled materials. Additionally, the soap, dishwashing liquid, and cleaning products provided are natural and environmentally sustainable.
