We are Percy and Anna Kirkman, owners of our 4vallees4saisons professional chalet rental and sales business in La Tzoumaz and Chamonix. We love mountains and mountain sports and spend our time sharing that love with our two young daughters and our older sons. We are fluent in both English and French. Originally from England, we both followed international careers within Procter & Gamble before making a life-changing move to the mountains when we met. After becoming the keyholders for Interhome in La Tzoumaz as our first business idea, we created the 4vallees4saisons brand to actively grow our portfolio to over 70 properties by offering a high quality bi-lingual service to both our travellers and our property owners. We believe the regions of La Tzoumaz and Chamonix are both magical and we are passionate about the beauty and opportunities of the alpine area. We have access to some of the best skiing in Europe, hundreds of kilometres of majestic hiking, fantastic mountain bike trails, wonderful family footpaths, and it is a delight to visit all year round. We want other people to enjoy La Tzoumaz and Chamonix all year round, not just now, but into the future.

Chalet Kookaburra is a delightful 4-bedroom chalet constructed in 2015, with incredible views across the Rhone Valley and to the Bernese Alps. The bright and open living space on the main floor comprises separate areas for cooking, dining and relaxing, and features an enclosed fireplace. This centrepiece room is exposed on all three sides, with large double-height picture windows providing you with breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding area and into the valley and the mountains beyond. A mezzanine area overlooks the living area and serves as a second TV area. There are four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms in total. Two are double bedrooms and one is a twin bedroom. The fourth bedroom has a set of double-bed bunk beds. The upstairs double bedroom has en en-suite bathroom with shower and WC, there is a 2nd bathroom with shower & WC and also a large family bathroom with bath shower and WC. A guest WC is also available. The open-plan kitchen features a hob and a combination oven and microwave. There are also staples such as dishwasher, fridge & freezer, kettle, toaster, electric filter coffee-machine and Nespresso coffee-machine. The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides. A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on. It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors). The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw. The Nature Trail has disabled parking and is accessible to wheelchairs and children's buggies.
