Do-Minus Mountain Cottage & mini spa is a mountain house recently internally renovated in a warm but minimal style. The house is located in the Mornera mountains at approx. 1400 m above sea level. Mornera can be reached only by cableway from Monte Carasso (15 min) or by walk (2h). Then from the arrival of the cableway (where is the restaurant) to the house you have to walk another 10 minutes on the path. As per tradition, the heating of the house is the wood-burning fireplace and as a support we provide a gas stove or the oil stove. The electricity for the operation of the refrigerator and the lights comes from batteries recharged by solar panels. For this reason the use of light and electrical appliances must be measured especially in cloudy weather (it is not allowed to connect appliances with high energy consumption such as hairdryers, ...) Stove and oven for cooking run on gas. As a mini spa service we offer the possibility of using the hotpot and the small heated sauna with fuel stove. The cost for using the hot tub is 45 chf / 3 days stay, including use of sauna.

Mornera can be reached from Monte Carasso by cableway in just over 12 minutes and in approx. 2h on foot. An ideal destination for a stay of complete relaxation in the silence of the mountains, the air is so fine and the greenery so green that they are already worth the trip. However, Mornera is also the ideal starting point for countless excursions on foot through pine forests, chestnut woods, along pastures and lakes or higher up to the peaks of the real Alps in just a few hours of good walking. Depending on the season, we recommend that you book the cable way trip online in advance on the dedicated website (www.mornera.ch) in case you plan to go up to the mountains before 16:00. The cableway operates from 06:30 to 21:30 for the ascent and 24h/24h for the descent. Outside the counter opening hours, tickets can be purchased at the automatic cash machine. You can arrive in the immediate vicinity by car to unload your luggage and then park in one of the car parks within the municipality of Monte Carasso. Parking is usually paid. We also offer the possibility of private parking (by reservation, for a fee depending on availability).
