Additional costs: interim cleaning CHF 100.00 per week (upon request) Discover the unique peace and relaxation at our authentic farmhouse, situated at 1030 meters altitude in the picturesque Simmental of the Bernese Alps. The absence of central heating is compensated by the traditional charm of a TIBA stove in the kitchen, which is not only used for cooking but also heats an adjoining sandstone oven in the living room. To enjoy the cozy warmth in this house, an active handling of the fire is required, contributing to the rustic charm of our accommodation. For additional comfort, there are electric heaters in the bedrooms. The interior layout includes a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet on the ground floor. The upper floor, which is accessible only from the outside, includes a lounge, another bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, and a second bathroom. The ceiling height in the upper rooms varies between 175 and 180 cm, giving the space a cozy character. Outside, the farmhouse boasts a terrace and is set in a stunning mountain landscape, ideal for lovers of winter sports and numerous summer sports. Access is via a partially steep and gravel road, adding an adventurous element in winter and necessitating good winter equipment. A grocery store, mountain and cable cars, as well as cross-country skiing opportunities are in the immediate vicinity. Optionally, the landlord offers a transfer from the nearest train station, allowing for an uncomplicated start to relaxation in this idyllic retreat.
