Welcome to Jizerka! A family-owned house in the middle of Toggenburg. The house is located approximately 5 km from the town Unterwasser in the valley. Only a short walking distance you have skiing and sledge slopes that connects you to the whole ski area. There is a lot of hiking opportunities in the area. Check out Toggenburg (summer or winter) on bergflex on the internet for more information about activities and happenings in the area. We rent out two apartments in the house; The lower apartment with mountain view and the upper Loft apartment. Due to water leakage the lower apartment is no under full renovation. We will load up new pictures when the renovation is done. There is a big private parking area outside the house and just beside the entrance you can store your skies. Downstairs you will also find table-tennis, washing machine and dryer. Both apartment is well equipped and all beds are made upon arrival. If you have any questions please let us know:)

We are a Danish family with family roots in Switzerland. The cabin has been in our family for around 40 years. We enjoy coming here and it is a wonderful place to enjoy the alps. Even though we do not live here, we will always be online for your help so we can make it as comfortable for you as possible:)

In the Valley, you have Unterwasser village with a good food store Coop, ski/cross-country/hiking/bike rental, bakery, restaurants and skiing pass office. From here you can take a little train up to Iltios where you have restaurant, bar, ski school and lift/slopes/hiking routes connection to the rest of the area. It is very nice to take the gondola to Chaserugg top where you have a beautiful view, can enjoy food in the new restaurant. From here you have skiing slopes but also beautiful walking trips. From the house we recommend to go for a sledge ride all the way down to the valley, take the train up and sledge back home - It is great fun!! When there is no snow in the area you can go for a walk around the lake nearby. There are many nice hiking routes with fireplaces along the way. Close to the house, you have restaurant Gade which has good food, drinks and nice desserts:)
