Situated in a quiet garden setting surrounded by greenery, with a pool and relaxing areas, and away from the main road with minutes walk into the centre of Muri Beach. With 3 units, sleeping 2, the property is also available for a group booking of 6 and you can be assured of privacy, and if booking the whole facility we can accomodate 6 people in your own private oasis. FREE WIFI!!! Please note we are NOT beach front, and we are up a steep GRAVEL off road drive on the hillside, the advantage of quietness and affordable accommodation, sorry, suitable only for able bodied guests. Reminder we are also ADULTS only, children will only be accepted if the whole complex is booked :) There is UV filtered water in the rooms and the bar and BBQ area is available for all guests, WIFI is complimentary. I have two dogs, Tama and Miri, and they live with me onsite, they will welcome you with a bark but they are super friendly and please do not book to stay with me if you don't like dogs as they are part of the family here :) There is an onsite housekeeper. Liesel, and she can help you with any housekeeping needs or servicing of the rooms. There is a private bush walk in the property and access to walks across the lagoon to the Islands inside the Lagoon. There is plenty of parking for cars or scooters. I live on site and I am happy to answer any questions regarding the accommodation, or Rarotonga, I have been here 10 years and know the Island pretty well! My husband Kave (a Cook Islander) and I moved home to Rarotonga in 2014 from NZ. We built and established the accomodation soon after. We then created Ariki Adventures, Rarotongas premium snorkel tours, and we introduced night paddle tours and established the original turtle tour on the Island, (which is now one of the Cook Islands 'must do's) Sadly, Kave is no longer with us, and he passed away suddenly in October 2023, Tama. Muri is the tourist capital of Rarotonga! Not only does it have a beautiful lagoon perfect for paddling swimming or kitesurfing, but it has some great cafes and restaurants, cultural shows, a museum and much more... You don't need to have transport to stay here, but is needed if you have injuries or are unable to walk up our drive. There is some great walking or MTB valleys close by also. Behind us there is a 500m uphill to view the most amazing Sunrises! There is also walking the Motus ( small islands) across the lagoon. We have the historical Avana passage within sight, where all the canoes left the Cook Islands to find other lands. also great for doing bombs off the jetty. We are on the sunrise side of the Island and they are stunning! We also have amazing Moon rises! It is, 700m to the popular Te Vara Nui Night Cultural Show and to the furtherest point in Muri which is 1.5k the Nautilus Resort, popular for weddings, and Muri Beach Club is also 500m away and the Pacific Resort, also popular for weddings. There is a local Mexican and Asian restaurant also minutes away and the Muri Night market.
