When dusk falls, the smoke from the bamboo tube rice will carry the Red Yao mountain songs into your window. Here, every room is a picture frame. The four seasons' symphony of the terraced fields - silver chains in spring, green waves in summer, golden foil in autumn, and jade carvings in winter - will all play out beside your pillow.
