We’re located 3 km from the main road (La Troncal) and 4 km from the beach. The main way to get around in the area is by mototaxi. If you’re coming from Santa Marta, go to the Main Market ( Mercado Publico ) and take an intermunicipal bus to Palomino (the last bus leaves around 6:00 p.m.). Ask the driver to stop at Costeño Beach. From there, you can take a mototaxi, and in about 10 minutes you’ll find us on the road to La Poza Encantada ( the Enchanted Pool ). Please note that only 4x4 vehicles can access the house directly. We can also arrange private car service for airport pick-ups or other transfers upon request. There is a small entrance fee to access Mendihuaca, which goes directly to support the local community.

At Casa Alibri you can disconnect from the bustle of the city and connect with the sounds of nature. From this magical place you can do ecological walks where you can contemplate different species of birds, native trees, just 4 km away from the beach! Were you can eat, drink ad surf.... and you can also visit one of the most beautiful places in the area the Enchanted Poza, which It is located on the Mendihuaca River only a 13min walk from the house . We have a professional Chef at home, you will have vegan options if you wish and all the good energy to make your stay a unique experience. We work together with the community of the village, farmers and local fishermen. The kitchen is not available for the guests.

There are plenty of things to do around here! 🌿 You can go tubing on the Don Diego River — a beautiful experience surrounded by stunning scenery. If you’re lucky, you might spot caimans, howler monkeys, and many different kinds of birds along the way. Don’t miss La Poza Encantada (the Enchanted Pool), the beautiful Mendihuaca Beach, and many other hidden gems nearby. Easy for day trips to parpue Tayrona! And for a bit of fun, we’ll teach you how to play Tejo, the traditional Colombian game (a bit like pétanque — but with a bang!). 🎯🇨🇴
