This is an authentic Momposino family run home. Our aim is to engage our guests with what Mompos has to offer. We are not reproducing Cartagena or Europe, just offering something uniquely Momposino and to provide an economic stimulus for the town.
The Casa Amarilla is a labour of love created in 2008 and run by an Anglo Colombian couple with roots in the town. Richard is half English and half Canadian, he is a journalist and author. Alba is Colombian and is an Economist with Momposina roots
On one corner of the iconic Santa Barbara plaza the Casa Amarilla is just a five minute's walk from the center and the only hotel on the river front.
