I am retired art and computer teacher who just loves to do art. I have murals on the property walls and do art lessons here. I just enjoy entertaining and providing folks with whatever they need to enjoy their stay in beautiful Osa Peninsula Costa Rica. I was a specialty decorative concrete contractor. I also designed high-end ski in/out homes. I love to do creative things. I find solutions to any problem and always take responsibility for anything that may go wrong. I do my best to make your stay comfortable and safe. I love to cook and keep the place clean. I can take care of your meals if needed. I moved here to enjoy life. I have been here now since August of 2024. I have been coming here for 17 years now. I have many friends all over the country and can help you with things in San Jose as well. This property is a garden paradise where the birds the frogs and the butterflies all love to play. flowers and trees everywhere it's just a really pretty place. This is a locally owned property that has wonderful owners! They live here on the property as do I. The Gulf Coast is less than a kilometer away from a wonderful restaurant with a swimming pool next door. Food is up the road 2 kilometers. I have a bike or it can be delivered. If Micheal has the day off he will take you on a two hour kayak tour for a fee. You pay John for this. There are many tours in town I can help you with. Also I can arrange airport transports and taxis to your tours. I am very new to this. As I used to say when I was a Construction Contractor, "Mistakes are free and so are the solutions.". I am an artist and hope you can enjoy my murals in my cabin and Casa de Arte. I have some pastels to sell and water color sets to paint post cards. There is a gallery in town full of work by local artisans and lots of jewelry as well. We are 10 km from Puerto Jimenez and about an hour to surfing in Monte Palo. Corcovado National Park is world famous for it beauty and animal life. There are several ways into the park. The boat tour gets you there quickly and you go deeper into the park. The walking tour only takes you to the entrance and is not that good a value. Rio Tigre entrance is up near Dos Brazos and gets you into the elevation quicker. All tours require reservations and a guide. I can help you Also, Bug spray or cream, Sun Block and flip flops are all a must around here. with this prior to your arrival. Part of the neighborhood is Farms. There's a bar down near the water. There's a bar with great food and a swimming pool right next door.(Closed presently, but we have access to the pool.) There's a little Store and restaurant up the street on the main road. It's just a really wonderful quiet neighborhood sometimes at night the bars might have music on Saturday.
