When Casa Rio Blanco opened its doors in 1994 it was an off grid ecolodge. When we took it over in 2024 we kept it the eco friendly bed and breakfast. We are making slight changes to meet 21st century demands but it truly still is a throwback to the days when Costa Rica was all about eco tourism. The cabins are all wood with big screened in windows to enable guests to enjoy the sounds of the rainforest and the white water rushing in the rio blanco below and also allow fresh air flow through the cabins. All Three cabins have a private bathroom and a private balcony. Breakfast is included in the room rate! If the property looks booked please contact us and we can assist with availability past bookings cut off time.
