Company information

We are from a catering and business background including an award winning pub in Devon (UK) and a corporate life with over 1,000 employees. We have traveled extensively - made award winning wine in New Zealand, lived and cooked in France and toured Europe and the far East. We are multi-lingual and working on our Spanish as we now living in Tamarindo (Costa Rica) and loving it. We love looking after visitors to this wonderful country. We're into photography, beachcombing, cooking, nature and the people of Costa Rica.

Property information

Casa Smilin' Dog is a quiet, secure home close to the centre of Tamarindo. We aim to provide a very relaxed, affordable and comfortable base for people holidaying in Tamarindo. We have a beautiful communal garden, lots of birds, monkeys, butterflies etc. Everyone is very friendly and we all look after each other. The beach is only 150m away and the centre of town (bars, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, etc) are literally 5 minutes down the road.

Neighbourhood information

We're close to the centre of town 150m from the beach & 5 minutes to the main strip. We have a secure, quiet environment which people love. The people here are very friendly - expect to say 'hello' on the beach and on the street!
