Uvita de Osa is a small town in southern Costa Rica, on a section of coastline known as the Costa Ballena of the Pacific Ocean. It is notable for hosting the annual music event and being home to the Cola de Ballena beach Ballena Marine National Park, is a National Park of Costa Rica, part of the Osa Conservation Area created as a safe area for humpback whale migration, hence its name, as Ballena is the Spanish word for whale.
