My name is Frédéric, thank you for your interest in my place. I was born in France, from a Caribbean mother and a dad issued from an Italian family who ran away from dictatorship. I lived in various countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Canada, Costa Rica... After many adventure like driving the Americas on an old rebuilt Jeep or the Gobi desert by train, I settled here, adopted my dog Horacio, and live peacefully close to nature.

La Casita Caribeña is our latest cabin at El Tucán Feliz Located at the border between the jungle & the Caribbean Sea, La Casita Caribeña is designed for travelers seeking an immersive experience, under a beautiful orange tree in a tropical garden. Designed and built by me with an eco-conscious mindset, your stay will be a balance of comfort and environmental respect. Close enough to the beach to walk there, and far enough away from noise to enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment, listen to the birds, and feel the nature. Above all, our primary goal is to ensure that our sleeping space prioritizes comfort and coziness. This is a place created to help you feel truly relaxed. In this addition, we aimed to create a peaceful atmosphere where you can rest surrounded by a vibrant tropical garden. The orange tree will bring the jungle to you, offering a view of trees, plants, and abundant wildlife, all from the comfort of a high-quality bed. Howler monkeys, birds, frogs, geckoes, crickets, and iguanas is our luxury. Furnished with a double bed and orthopedic mattress, a kitchenette, a purified water dispenser, a private outdoor bathroom with hot water, and a small private garden, every detail of the casita has been designed to create a warm and welcoming space. Don't anticipate luxury. This is a humble place in the middle of a luxurious landscape. Please note that this place has no infrastructure and is not suitable for children and or babies, hence we only receive adults. No exceptions.

We are a small, quiet residential neighborhood. Playa Cocles is a 5-minute walk away. There is also a supermarket and a couple of restaurant at the corner of the street.
