Set in Rivas, Rocka Verde Retreat 8th Wonder of the World offers a balcony with mountain and river views, as well as a year-round outdoor pool, hot tub and spa facilities. This unique place in the world is built around giant boulders where it is believed that they found the cave of mammoths (mastodons)🦣 thousands of years ago. The river front property is full of a great variety of fruit trees and breathtaking mountain views. It's a jungle paradise with an excellent climate in one of the best towns in Costa Rica, Rivas.
Born in the USA,family from Italy.Wife Yorleny is from Costa Rica We are happy to greet you and answer any questions. You can book a relaxing massage with Yorleny in our gazebo built over the river and if you want to have a special meal cooked for you. Robert is a professional chef. He prides himself on his delicious meals he prepares with fresh, local, and organic ingredients bought from the farm across the street. Please ask in advance if this option is available for your stay if you are interested. Co-host Luba is the property manager and travel coordinator. She plans incredible itineraries that are unique and special and can help with any of the planning and questions.
The neighborhood is beautiful with river view along the road to all the way to the house. Costa Rica people are very friendly and welcoming. Across the street is an organic farm which sells fresh produce and there are hot springs and 4 star restaurants just minutes away. San Isidro is 30 minutes away providing all the conveniences of the city. Rafting on the river is available from a near by local adventure company as well as paragliding and other activities. We have a guidebook to share with you to help you make the most out of your adventure! We have a driver that can pick you up from the airport about 3.5 hours away. Vehicle is necessary to explore the area and we provide covered parking. Some guests prefer 4x4 vehicles especially to visit some attractions.
