We are glad to host your visit to our mountain top Paradise and Peace! This is a once-in-a-lifetime mountain rainforest experience! We have 56-hectares of beautiful Costa Rican highland mountain range and pasture with abundant wildlife and stunning natural environment variety. We have 3-Cabins. We also offer onsite tours - from horseback to hiking, night tours & more. Male and/or female massage services are available for personal massage, couples massage and learning massage sessions. FREE self-serve Continental Breakfast and Dinner providers serving our guests at the mountain per their availability and separate charges. Our property is accessible by “SUV-class” 4x4 vehicles ONLY. We offer 1 FREE shuttle up and down the mountain in our 6-seater Kawasaki mule. Recently, repairs were made to the public road to the lodge, so road conditions are much better, however, 4x4 vehicles are still preferred. NOTICE: You will need to arrange your own additional transportation services with local drivers for their travel schedules and rates. This is truly an amazing life experience. We have a whitewater rafting provider that offers pick-up and return at the base of our mountain, and other nearby tour options and places of interest. Come stay with us!

We are Ranzel & Mia Kendrick from our hill country music-roots home of Boerne, Texas. In 2019 we sold our cars flew down to exchange vows on Cocles Beach, bought bicycles and decided to stay forever. In our first 24-months we bought the historic "Hotel Yare" for renovation, then our Playa Negra "Casa Pool-a-Vida" beach rental w/ splash pool! And now the "Torre Alta Lodge" we have upgraded and renamed: "The Lodge at Reventazon River Mountain Ranch." Mia "mi amour" is a creative lovechild mother-of-two, born in Washington D.C. adopted by a Texas military family. I am her singer-songwriter guitarist love, with my "Ranzel X Kendrick" & "Alias Wayne" music on YouTube, Spotify & iTunes. We split time between the mountain and our "Casa Pool-a-Vida" Playa Negra / Puerto Viejo beach rental & home. Come ENJOY this wonderful mountain property! Ride horses, take a birding or nature tour during the day, and nature tours at night with Steven, or learn about local medicinal plants and more with Johnny. We allow early check-ins to enjoy our lodge area with its large deck and hiking trail until your unit is ready. Our smoker and BBQ pit are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Near our Reventazon River Mountain Ranch are botanical gardens, shops, super markets, restaurants, sight seeing, and local tours like white water rafting. There are many organic sugar cane fields, coffee farms, tree farms, birds galore and GREAT friendly people! None better than our lodge family-friends and crew Walter, Johnny, Fressi and Steven. Muy buena gente! / Great people! It's a really great place between Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea for a stop to cool off. This is 4x4 ONLY w/ roads improved to be more pleasantly passable.
