周边信息
Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre is a small town of around 300 people. The town is famous for its gold mining and proximity to Corcovado National Park. A couple years ago (2015) a park trail for Corcovado National Park (not a park entrance) was opened so guests could access a small portion of the Park. Dos Brazos has been characterized as one of the last few remaining towns in Costa Rica that has not been overridden with tourism. Visiting Dos Brazos is an authentic experience and you will feel like you just visited a town from decades ago.
Location
We are located 12km from Puerto Jimenez. Dos Brazos is located in the foothills, of the Osa Peninsula bordering Corcovado National Park along the Rio Tigre (tiger river). Our fresh clean air, natural water and rural setting make for a much different experience than staying in the larger well known town of Puerto Jimenez. Please take into account the lack of amenities, stores, restaurants, cellular service, thus come with an open mind and laid back mind set. Prepare in advance for food purchases, national park arrangements and future stays.
Dos Brazos is off the beaten path yet very close to everything you need. Puerto Jimenez is where you can find beaches, fishing, surfing, restaurants, stores, transportation and cellular service.
