Marazul Dive Resort is located near the North-West end of the island, nearest all the best beaches! Escape the crowds and stay where you play! The shore diving provides a huge cost savings and freedom from guided tours and there is almost always someone at Marazul to buddy up with if you are a solo diver! Dive, snorkel and swim directly from the resort by entering the sea at one end and returning to the resort at the other end by the stairs cut into the coral. The town-home has absolutely stunning panoramic sea view from both levels! The pool is well-maintained with lounge chairs and a huge palapa if you prefer the shade. Sunsets are also spectacular and guests either meet at the sea wall with drink in hand or enjoy it from their own private balcony or patio! In the winter the tuna jump and the sunsets become anti-crepuscular from the peaks of Venezuela. The temperature in Curacao is as close as you can get to perfect year-round weather with the temps in the 80's day and night...all the time! Leave the sweaters at home!
We have been traveling to Curacao for the past 7 years and feel like it is our home away from home. We love the freedom and cost savings Curacao's shore diving offers and we love the beautiful beaches, hiking, and exploring. We now have 3 properties in Curacao, 2 1 bedroom town-homes at Marazul Dive Resort and a 2 bedroom at Lagoon Ocean Resort. We also have a property in Kihei, Maui, and a ski-in-ski out in Park City, UT which is where we live. We have 5 children between us and 2 grand-children. Property management is our job in retirement and we both really enjoy fixing up places and hosting people so that they can have a great place to stay at an affordable price. We strive to be the best of the best!
Curacao's 5 best beaches (out of 30) are located within minutes of Marazul Dive Resort. Playa Kalki (5 min drive)offers snorkeling at "Alice and Wonderland", a beach restaurant with fresh fish, a full bar, beach massages, and the highly ranked Go West Diving, complete with dive boat. Playa Piskado is where you can swim with the turtles and pick up the local fisherman's catch for dinner. Playa Big Knip (Kenepa) is ranked one of the 10 best beaches in the World and is 5 min away by car or 1 km walking. Lagun Beach has a protected lagoon and 2 restaurants with stunning sunset views. Also close by are the 2 National Parks Curacao has to offer, Shete Boka National Park and Christoffel National Park. Also nearby you can hike or Kayak to snorkel the popular "Blue Room" cave. Why drive to the beaches and excursions when you can stay nearby...and have amazing options for dining, diving and recreating?
