Waterside Apartments is located on the South coast, right on the beach, and is centrally located in the idyllic fishing village of St. Michiel, or better known as Boca Sami. The beach in front of Waterside Apartments, named Playa Wachi / Snake Bay / Slangenbaai used to serve as base for fishermen, to let the boat in the water and to stow fishing before heading off in the early morning. It no longer serves this purpose, but it remains a very authenthic and appealing 'hidden gem' in Curaçao. The capital Willemstad, supermarket, as well as the most beautiful bays and Hato Airport can be reached in 10 minutes. There is a mini market within walking distance.
