Ευρισκόμενο στην οροσειρά του Τροόδους και στην γραφική περιοχή της Πιτσιλλιάς, το χωριό Ασκάς εντάσσεται στην Επαρχία Λευκωσίας κι είναι σε υψόμετρο 900 μέτρων πάνω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας. Τα απότομα βουνά, οι κοιλάδες και τα τρεχούμενα νερά του Ποταμού Ασκά και άλλων μικρότερων ρυακιών κόβουν πραγματικά την ανάσα. Ο παραδοσιακός χαρακτήρας του Ασκά έχει διατηρηθεί με τα στενά, δαιδαλώδη σοκάκια, τους πέτρινους τοίχους και τα χειροποίητα κεραμίδια στις στέγες .Το χωριό έχει επίσης πολλές παλιές και ενδιαφέρουσες εκκλησίες, συμπεριλαμβανομένης της Μεσαιωνικής Εκκλησίας του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Βαπτιστή του 16ου αιώνα και της Εκκλησίας του Τιμίου Σταυρού.
Ξωκλήσι Όσιου και Προφήτη Αββακούμ Το ξωκλήσι του θαυματουργού Όσιου και Προφήτη Αββακούμ βρίσκεται στο δυτικό άκρο της κοινότητας στο Φτερικούδι. Μονοπάτι της Φύσης. Το Μονοπάτι εκτείνεται από την κατοικία Σοφία Τσαγκαρίδη, που βρίσκεται στον κύριο υπεραστικό δρόμο μέχρι την Πλαγιά Πάνω Αμπέλια. Περιδιαβαίνοντας κανείς το Μονοπάτι θα εισπνεύσει καθαρό αέρα και θα θαυμάσει το φυσικό περιβάλλον. Εκκλησία του Τιμίου Σταυρού. Στα ανατολικά του χωριού, χαμηλά εκεί που τελειώνουν τα σπίτια, βρίσκεται η εκκλησία του Τιμίου Σταυρού. Είναι τρίκλιτος Βασιλική. Εκκλησία του Τιμίου Προδρόμου. Στα νοτιοανατολικά του χωριού σε απόσταση 100 μέτρων από τα τελευταία σπίτια, βρίσκεται η εκκλησία του Τιμίου Προδρόμου. Είναι ο κύριος ναός του χωριού και είναι αφιερωμένος στον Ιωάννη τον Βαπτιστή. Παρεκκλήσι Αγίας Χριστίνας - Αγίας Παρασκευής Βορειοδυτικά του χωριού σε απόσταση δύο χιλιομέτρων βρίσκεται το ξωκλήσι της Αγίας Χριστίνας. Είναι άγνωστο από πότε το εκκλησάκι θεωρείται προς τιμήν της Αγίας Παρασκευής, η οποία και τιμάται ιδιαιτέρως.
