The newly built and refurbished wooden cottage offers a spacious patio which you can use in every weather possible. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, including several freezers and ovens, 2 induction hot plates, dishwashers, kettles and further kitchen equipment. The cottage is equipped with a modern bathroom which contains a spacious shower area. The top floor is intended for sleeping as well as relaxing. It is equipped with high-quality mattresses, bedding and bedlinen. Everything was chosen with the greatest care. The guests can use the entire cottage of course. The living space, the patio and the storeroom also offer enough space for potential bicycles or ski equipment. You are going to reside at the village of “Stará Huť” near “Nemanice”. In the proximity you can soak in the beauty of “Louka u Staré Huti” which is a unique meadow area with plentiful wild orchids during their flowering season. It has been declared a national monument. The closest Czech town is “Klenčí pod Čerchovem” (15 km). Additional close-by cities are “Domažlice” (25 km), where the so-called “Chodské” fair takes place every August, and the German “Waldmünchen” (10 km), which is a health resort.

We love sourdough bread which we always bake from scratch. In case you are interested we would be happy to provide you with varied, homemade bread upon your arrival. We care deeply about our nature and therefore, we strive to instill the same passion into friends and relatives. That is why we only use economical cleansing agents and a waste sorting system. Furthermore, we always pick up waste during our nature walks. We constantly attempt to create an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. You should not miss anything while staying with us. Since we live just around the corner in neighboring “Novosedelská Huť” (3 km), we are always near you in case you need something else. The cottage itself is located in the picturesque part of “Český Les” next to Germany. It is surrounded by breathtaking and serene landscape. You can easily choose from a physically active trip or a relaxed getaway with the quietness of the surrounding woods in order to escape from the hustle and bustle and modern technology of our everyday life. You can enjoy running, cycling or cross-country skiing, here you can indulge in your chosen activity year-round. Mushroom pickers will be pleasantly surprised because it takes only a few steps to find fresh, wild fungi during their seasons. Because of the historical “Iron Curtain”, which lasted until 1989, much of the nature area is still uninhabited and protected from mankind nowadays. In addition, there are several beautiful lakes nearby. The closest one is the German “Perlsee”, which can be reached by bike through the frontier area of “Lučina”/”Grafenried”. Especially this area is ideal for cycling due to the street quality in Bavaria. The local drivers look after the cyclists and drive responsibly. Thus, it is perfectly safe to be on the road with your bike. Moreover, you can enjoy several astonishing and regularly supervised ski runs.
