Our non-smoking holiday apartment has been completely renovated and has a separate entrance. If you arrive by car, you have a parking space directly in front of the staircase to the terrace apartment at your disposal. You can get fresh rolls or breakfast eggs 1 minute away across the street in the "Wiesenthauer Lädla" A peaceful, quiet, charming beer garden invites you to enjoy a meal and a refreshing beer right in the Wiesenthau castle courtyard. There is also an Italian restaurant there. Another possibility to try Franconian cuisine is in the Gasthaus Egelseer in Wiesenthau.

In the idyllic landscape round of the table mountain “Ehrenbürg” (Walberla and Rodenstein) our apartment is located on the through road Wiesenthau facing away from the road. It is an charmingly rurual area which cold Frankonia Switzerland between Nürnberg, Bamberg and Bayreuth. Dedicated walkers can start their tour right from the apartment. Hiking and relaxing in nature, Franconian Switzerland is made for this, it is well developed with a variety of hiking trails. Experience the cherry blossom or our "Indian Summer", every season has its charm. But exciting adventures for young and old await you too, such as: climbing, paragliding, cave tours, kayaking, knight castles, visiting an amusement park ... ect. Or enjoy our Franconian specialties (beer, schnapps, farmer's bread, sausages, "Bohnakern" or "Schäufala" with Kloss). Take part in traditional customs e.g. Winteraustreiben, Easter fountain, Georgiritt, church consecrations ect ... The royal city of Forchheim with its half-timbered houses, the Bächla, the cobblestone streets, the fortress and the imperial palace is 7 km away.
