It is approx. 7 km to the Baltic Sea beach in the Baltic Sea resort of Zingst and approx. 4 km to the small town of Barth. In the village there is a restaurant, harbour with passenger boats, cycle paths and a beach. Zeesboot trips and surfing school on the Bodden possible. Horse riding is possible at several riding stables in the neighbourhood. As the local Bodden region is one of the largest resting places for migratory birds in Europe, the conditions here are ideal for birdwatching"
