The property is just 200 meters from Lake Quitzdorf and Kaolinschacht, set between forest, lake, and nature. Parking is available, and pets are welcome. Events are permitted on the property by arrangement. A nearby restaurant with a beer garden offers meals on site. The area is ideal for swimming, fishing, and boating at Lake Quitzdorf, as well as hiking and cycling through the woods and around Kaolinschacht, wildlife watching in the nature reserve, and trips to Bautzen, Görlitz, or the UNESCO Muskauer Faltenbogen Geopark.
