What makes us unique? A modernly furnished room with 2 double floor-length windows in the room provide daylight and fresh air at all times. You can darken it if it's too bright for you. The bathroom is in the hallway just 5 steps from the room and NOT in the room. We attach great importance to hygiene. The hallway is of course heated and cozy and warm in winter. You can use a mini fridge if you want to keep something cool in the room. A SmartTV with access to Netflix and Prime offers in full HD quality. WiFi via a fiber optic internet connection. A 38sqm terrace invites you to linger. In the Graten you will find a fireplace grill. The house stands as a single house on an 1100 sqm plot which is beautifully landscaped with lawn and trees. Just take the sun lounger and enjoy the time.

As hosts, we are very concerned about the well-being of our guests and look forward to welcoming every guest from all nations, religions and skin colors. People are our priority and we want to give our guests the feeling that they should feel at home with us. We are a seasoned couple who have traveled a lot around the world and are therefore open-hearted to everyone. Our hobby is traveling and cooking good food and eating it with friends. I am a native of India and a passionate hobby cook, as I have a degree in computer science. When I'm not at the computer, I'm in the kitchen cooking something for my lovely wife and friends.

WELCOME TO RATZEBURG Water is the dominant theme in the island town of Ratzeburg. Because its center is on an island, surrounded by 4 lakes: the Great Ratzeburger See, the Great Küchensee, the Kleiner Küchensee and the Domsee. Hiking and cycling paths lead around the island and the lakes, swimming and rest areas are available everywhere - in short: everything is there for activity and peace. Anyone who looks at it from the water will get a special view of the cathedral. You can go around the island town by excursion boat, pedal boat, electric boat or rowing boat. The water and water sports belong to the city like the lion to the cathedral: Karl Adam once trained the Ratzeburg rowers here and brought home Olympic gold. The rowing academy is still an institution today.
