A relaxing retreat after an eventful day. 🛌 Each of the two bedrooms features a comfortable queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm) with premium 100% cotton bedding, a wardrobe area, and a cozy corner for working or relaxing. 🛋️ The living area includes a cozy sofa that converts into a bed (140 × 200 cm) for the 5th and 6th guests, ensuring a restful sleep. A dining area for four and a 55-inch Google Smart TV with streaming options complete the space. 🛁 The bathroom is equipped with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Of course, we provide fresh towels as well as essentials like shower gel, shampoo, and a hairdryer. 🍽️ The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and a coffee machine – ideal for cooking. 🏙️ Surroundings: The apartment is located in the heart of Buer's vibrant city center. Situated on the upper floors, it offers a direct view of Urbanus Park, providing a relaxing green outlook. Guests also enjoy a view of the historic cathedral, where the popular evening market takes place every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. On the ground floor, a traditional pub invites you to linger — typical of Gelsenkirchen and the Ruhr area with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additional Information: 🔊 On certain weekends, especially during home games of FC Schalke 04, it can become livelier both in the surrounding area and in the ground-floor pub due to the central city location. For guests who are not visiting for a stadium event, we recommend checking possible match dates in advance or reaching out to us directly. While the regular operation of the pub is quiet and unobtrusive on many weekends, overnight stays on specific, fixed dates throughout the year may be affected by an increased noise level. 🥃 With every booking, guests receive a voucher for a complimentary drink per person. The voucher can be redeemed at the iconic pub downstairs with the host. You may choose between soft drinks and beer. Please note: the pub is closed from Monday to Thursday. 🚉 Transport connections: Public transportation, including buses and suburban trains (S-Bahn), is just a 5-minute walk away.
