Located in the heart of Upper Bavaria, between Munich, Salzburg and Kufstein, is one of the most beautiful houses in Upper Bavaria.
Built in 1752, the Schusterhäusl is the centre of the village square of Törwang on the Samerberg, a small but charming Upper Bavarian village.
The rich facade decoration dates back to 1794. In 2014 the elaborate restoration of the exterior facade was completed. The interior of the Schusterhäusl was modernised in 2018 to a high standard of quality and style, with great attention to detail and historical background.
The Schusterhäusl not only enchants with its charm, but also with its unique location in the middle of the tranquil village square with the village fountain belonging to the house. Törwang was already awarded years ago as the most beautiful village of Upper Bavaria.
Experience Schusterhäusl - individual, cosy and charming.
All apartments have a natural stone bathroom with rain shower and fluffy towels, wood panelling, oak and cotto floors, king size box spring beds and much more!
The Schusterhäusel has been owned by the Pallauf family for centuries. After the house was restored in 2014 and the Lüftlmalerei was completely renewed, after the death of Yvonne and Hans Pallauf, their daughter Claudia set herself the task of renovating the interior of the family's beloved piece of jewellery with great care and attention to detail.
For the first time, the Schusterhäusl will be open to guests, as it has always served as the family seat of Pallaufs.
I, Claudia Wagner, born Pallauf, decided many years ago to live in Wiesbaden (Hessen) because of my great love. After the birth of our two sons I decided to assist my husband in his practice. We always enjoyed spending the holidays with my parents in the Schusterhäusl. Now I would like to open the doors of my house for people who can share our love for this special house. I am very happy to show you our house and its impressive charm.
