Our vacation home in Bad Reichenhall is located in the quiet district of Staufenbrücke in the immediate vicinity of the beautiful Saalachau. The alpine town is surrounded by a wonderful mountain landscape that offers a wide range of leisure activities. In the settlement you will find a small bakery for your breakfast rolls. There is a children's playground, a large playing field and a football pitch. The city bus stops a minute's walk away. The train station and the city center are about 2 km away and can be reached in 5 minutes by car or by public transport. You can use these free of charge throughout the district with the guest card. In the direction of the city center you will find many stores to do your shopping. At the weekly market on Reichenhall's Rathausplatz you can buy fresh produce from the region every Friday morning.

This is the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, bike tours and swimming excursions. The Königssee in Berchtesgaden, Mozart's birthplace in Salzburg or the Chiemsee are just a stone's throw away. On hot summer days, a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Lake Thumsee or our beautiful outdoor pool “Bachei” will cool you down. Stroll through the charming old town and the royal spa gardens of Bad Reichenhall. Take the cable car up to the Predigtstuhl and enjoy the fantastic view of the mountains. A visit to the Park Cinema, the Rupertus Thermal Baths or the Old Salt Works are just some of the many ways to spend the day, even in rainy weather. Discover the varied excursion destinations in Berchtesgadener Land in winter too. Hikes and ski tours through the snow-covered winter landscape have their own magic.
