The former signal man house is located in a water protection area in the Schlierachtal and is surrounded by nature. You are at a very quiet place, only the occasionally passing railcars of the railway line Holzkirchen - Bayrischzell remind you from time to time that civilization is not far. It is a very good starting point for excursions, be it long walks or bicycle tours in the vicinity, or hiking or skiing at the nearby Schliersee and Tegernsee. If you more in the mood for a city trip, Munich, Salzburg or Innsbruck can be reached within an hour.
The house is 130 years old and was rebuilt in 2014 into a low energy house, equipped with a pellets heating system and renovated to a high standard. The carpenter furniture was restored by me and contributes to the cosy ambience. The house has a dining room with an attached, well-equipped kitchen, a very large living room and a bedroom with a small toilet. Furthermore there is a bathroom / WC with shower, a utility room, a cellar and a garage. The living space is 117 m².
You are surrounded by nature - this means a lot of forest and meadows. From time to time you can also hear the ringing of cowbells. Or birdsong. Or cyclists on the nearby bicycle path from Holzkirchen - to Miesbach. The nearest supermarket and other shops are located at a distance of about 3 - 4 km in Miesbach.
