The Andrea flat is located on the first floor; it has an underground parking space. The flat itself has the charm of an old Tyrolean parlour, the fixtures are partly from old farmhouses. A tiled stove offers cosiness and a comfortable atmosphere in winter. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included. The separate kitchen is very well equipped, also a basic equipment of spices, napkins, kitchen roll etc. are available. Bed linen, towels etc. are provided. The location is very quiet, directly at the hiking trails of the nature reserve Geigelstein, also the cross-country ski trails in winter pass by in the immediate vicinity. After a strenuous day of hiking, you can enjoy the sun on the west side of the spacious balcony until evening, with a view of Geigelstein, Breitenstein and the surrounding mountains, with a beautiful sunset to end the day.

The mountaineering village of Schleching offers tranquillity, a largely intact natural environment, conscious care of the landscape, a beautiful townscape with farmhouses and a rural idyll that is not often found today. The proximity of the Chiemgau mountains on the one hand and the Tyrolean mountains with the Zahmem Kaiser and Wildem Kaiser on the other means that both hikers and climbers are challenged. If you want to give your aching muscles a rest, you can take a bath at the Zeller or Wössnersee lakes or about 20 km away at the Chiemsee, or the Tiroler Ache near Marquartstein offers extensive water fun with rafting and kayaking. In winter, cross-country skiers simply put on their skis and go, the Andreas-Birnbacher cross-country ski trail is a wonderful tour of the valley, nearby Reit im Winkl offers plenty of opportunities for cross-country skiers, and alpine skiers get their money's worth at the Winklmoosalm with the Steinplatte ski area as well as at Kössen and St.Johann.
