The Pension Krone has been a family business for over 25 years (Pensions Reichel in Freiberg) and will be continued by us after a generation change. Since January 1st, 2023 we want to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible and are in the process of modernizing the rooms bit by bit. In addition to several single and double rooms, there are also two holiday apartments available. In the course of this year we want to introduce many innovations and welcome your suggestions. We are looking forward to your visit.

The pension is located right in the center of the traditional silver town of Freiberg. Directly around the corner, you can find the cathedral with the Silbermann organ (50 m), the theater (200 m) or the Terra Mineralia (450 m), that can be easily reached on foot. You can hardly resist the culinary delights. The "Goldenes Prag" restaurant (85 m), "Cafe Andelt" (50 m), Sushi (140 m) or the "Stadtwirtschaft" with its Bohemian cuisine (250 m) await your visit. Freiberg is the ideal starting point for numerous excursions. Whether you want to discover the old town of Dresden, the Unesco world heritage "Erzgebirge", the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, or, or, or... We would be happy to give you suggestions for excursions and tourist destinations.
