The apartment has been exceptionally furnished by the landlord with a great deal of creativity and craftsmanship. If you like the chic and practical decor in the apartment, be sure to speak to the landlord: some items are available for purchase as souvenirs. Enjoy breakfast in the beautiful, rustically landscaped garden and leave everyday life behind. The idyllic location in the heart of the Thuringian Forest Nature Park offers mountain hikes in the Rennsteig region and cycling excursions. For a day trip, visit the Marienglas Cave between Tabarz and Friedrichroda, the miniature park in Ruhla, or Gotha with Friedenstein Castle. The town's landmark is the "Hallenburg" castle ruins, perched on a rock overlooking the town. Due to its location, Steinbach-Hallenberg is particularly popular with athletes.
